Q: What Size Speakers Will Replace The Rear SpeakersIn a 2007 Honda Accord Sedan?
I bought some Pioneer 6x9" speakers a while ago for my old car, but they werent the same size so i never used them, I now have a 2007 Honda Accord Sedan and was wondering if those speakers would fit in the rear (behind the back seats). Ive tried searching the net for it, but i cant seem to find a clear cut answer.

A: Crutchfield says a 6x9 will fit in the factory grille, so I'd go for it.

Q: Is it hard to install OEM foglights on a 2007 Honda Accord Sedan?
I want to install OEM foglights on my 2007 Honda Accord Sedan. The dealership has quoted me a price of $700 to do it. I can get the lights for $275. Would it be difficult to install the lights myself?

A: Not hard at all. Go find a small installation place to put them and I bet they will hardly charge you anything. Like a stereo shop. Go to the Dealer and they will charge you an ARM AND LEG!!!

Q: How much does it cost to replace a manual transmission with an automatic one on a 2007 Honda Accord?
My parents recently bought me a 2007 Honda Accord with a manual transmission. How much would it cost to replace it with an automatic one and how can I go about changing it?

A: why mess with it? it's an 07. go trade it back to the dealer for an automatic then. Stick gets better gas mileage. Ladies are more impressed anyways

Q: How much should I pay for a 2007 honda accord exl v6?
I am looking to switch my car. I went to the dealer yesterday, and I saw a 2007 Honda accord EX-L V6 automatic. The MSRP is $27995. I am looking to pay this in cash what do you think I should pay for it? would $23500 be a good price?

A: Cash does nothing when buying a car from a dealer. Dealers actually prefer financing as they get kickbacks from the loan lender. The ALL NEW redesigned 2008 Accord will be out in just a couple of months (Sep or Oct). That mean that buying an 2007 is a dumb move, as you'll be paying the maximum amount possible for the older body style as 2007 is the last year of its production run. And with a brand new body style out the 2007's will lose more value than they normally would. What you pay for it primarily depends on the invoice- what the dealer paid Honda for the car. MSRP is for suckers. Here is an invoice list. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/trims.aspx?year=2007&make=Honda&model=Accord I personally would not buy the 2007 model, even if you got it for $1,000 less than invoice. Wait for the 2008, and then do the following to get the best deal: 1. Never trade your current vehicle in, sell it yourself. 2. Always try to pay as close as possible to "invoice price" (what the dealer pays for the car from Honda, Toyota, etc). 3. Always shop for a car at a dealer at the end of the month- I'm talking the last 1-3 days. Not only does each salesman have a quota of cars he needs to sell each month, but so does the entire dealership. They will be much more willing to drop prices close to invoice for the sale. 4. Go to autotrader.com and email all the Honda/Toyota/etc. dealers within 75-100 miles and ask them for their bottom line price on the model and trim level you want. 5. Take the best price you're quoted in email and call the other dealers and ask them if they'll beat that price by a margin big enough to make it worth your while. A good number is an addtional $300-500. Remember that your goal is to pay what the dealer paid for the car, INVOICE PRICE. Generally, the bigger the lot (more cars in stock) the better the deal as they sell more units (volume) and don't rely on profit (margins) nearly as much. Sometimes they'll even take a slight loss and sell for less than invoice just to move a unit or steal a sale from another dealership. Play the lots against one another. 6. Remember that you're in control. They'll try to bully you, say they can't get the price any lower, stall, run back and forth to the manager, etc. It's all just a show. They know exactly what they can sell the car for. So, do the above on an 2008 in a few months when they hit showrooms. You might want to wait an additional month or so for sales of the new style to slow down for the best deal. A few hundred over invoice would be good on an 2008. As for the 2007, you would need to get if for a fair chunk under invoice to counteract the resale the car will lose due to the 2008 coming out. And lastly, again, cash does not matter to a stealership as they make money when people finance. A small dingy corner lot on the other hand will like paid in full cash, as their primary customer has bad credit and it can be tough financing them. But when they do get financing, they're paying 25% interest and the corner lot is happy again. Good Luck!

Q: Does my 2007 Honda Accord EX Sedan have an auxillary jack?
I have a 2007 Honda Accord EX Sedan and I was wondering if there is an auxillary jack for me to plug something into. I'm wondering this because there is a button that says "CD/AUX". I feel that there should be a spot to plug something into because why would it say the "/AUX" part? Any help would be amazing. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot.

A: No, the AUX jack was not standard till 2008.

Q: How do the 2004 Honda Accord Coupes differ from the 2007 models?
Hey guys, I'm a college student. My dad wants to buy me a brand new car but the one I want (which is the 2007 Honda Accord Coupe), he says is too high. I recently found out that they started making that same body style in 2003. I have talked to some people at Honda and they suggested that I try to find a 2004 model because then I can get a warranty and have an easier time being financed. So, my main question is in what ways do the 2007 model differ from the 2004 model? What exactly will I be missing out on if I get a 2004 instead of a 2007? And are the 2004 Honda Accord Coupes good cars? Thanks.

A: They are pretty much the same car. The 2007 has a revised front and back, otherwise drivetrain and interior there is little changed. They are excellent cars, you cant go wrong with a Honda.

Q: does anyone know where i could get a manual for the 2007 honda accord?
i just bought a 2007 accord and i guess they misplaced the manual or something. i don't really feel like comeing back there to wait in line and complain about a manual, so does anyone know where i could download it online?

A: The correct answer is that you have to buy it. You can order one on-line from Helm Publications at www.helm.com Helm is the official distributor for Honda manuals. Honda does not have a public download available. dealers can read indexed manuals on-line but there is no entire download available to them. there was a prior post referring owners to www.Hondahookup.com where apparently you can register and download manuals but if you download those manuals (if in fact they are on that site) you are violating copyright laws. That might not mean anything to you today but everytime its done the price of the manuals in the new cars go up. If you got the car from the dealer I'd recommend you go back there and get your manual. hope that helps

Q: What should I pay for 2007 Honda Accord LX Automatic 4-cyl?
What should I pay for a new 2007 Honda Accord LX Automatic 4-cyl? I live in Washington DC metro area. Does invoice price to the dealer include the destination charge? The dealer's invoice for this model is $18,864. The destination charge is $595. Thanks. When I go to the dealer, should I stick to the Invoice Price ($18,864) for the car? or Invoice + destination ($18,864 + $595) is a good price to offer? If you think above/below invoice is where I will be able to buy this car, let me know at what point I will be able to get it. I am trying to buy this car this week or this weekend. I want to make sure that I don't overpay for this car. About destination charge, I am not trying to get some special vehicle here. I am going for something that is already on the dealer's lot. The side question to the overall question is: Does dealer's invoice include destination charge (freight) or it does not? Thanks.

A: The invoice price or their "breakeven" number is 18,864 + the destination of 595 totaling 19,459. Edmunds TMV states that others in my area are paying 20,916. Your goal should be to pay no more than 400 - 500 over the invoice of 19,459. I would even take a shot at less if I were you because although most manufacturers no longer offer dealers holdback on each vehicle there is usually some type of monthly reward each dealership gets in the form of CSI bonus money or volume bonus money etc...In essence increasing their profit(s) on each car. Your floor should be 18,700 and your ceiling 19,959 (assuming there are no rebates or cash back in your market). You can use Edmunds to check for incentives in your area. When presenting your deal try and find motivating factors you can tie into your negotiations as evidence to why the dealer should lower the price of car. For example has it been in their inventory long? is it near the end of the month? etc...If you need additional help negotiating visit www.landkar.com

Q: How do I remove the rear seats (back and bottom) of Honda accord 2007 LX (US Model). Any help?
I want to add seat covers to Honda accord 2007. For that, I need to remove the reat seats (back/bottom/side) of the car. How do I remove it. Any help?

A: the bottom will pull up, if it dont then push it in(toward the trunk) and lift up on the edge. and the back will probably have bolts or screws at the bottom, after you get the bottom out then youll see them

Q: Can 2005 Acura MDX wheels fit on a 2007 Honda Accord?
Both have the same bolt pattern (5x114.3). The wheels from Acura are 17x6.5/45offset, my current wheels on my Honda are 15x6.5/38offset.

A: The different offset will kill the wheel bearings.

Q: How do I know if my 2007 honda accord coupe ex is already prewired for fog lights?
I'm interested in putting in fog lights, but only if it's prewired, how do I find out if they are?

A: you can carefully take off your rubber cover around the tire and front u arm. reach in to see if there's a pre wire harness, most should be prewired if it comes with a fog light option. but remember, you have to get a new signal/light arm on the side of the steering wheel so you can have the option to turn on the fog lights. i believe the new arm can simply be replace by moving the plastic covering and a couple of screw and insert the new arm.

Q: 2007 Honda Accord EX. How do I remove carpet so I can hide speaker wires running to my subs?
So I've gotten as far as removing the "dead" pedal on the driver's side but I have NO idea how to get the side foot rest by the doors off. I need to get both the one on the driver's side and the one on the rear left passenger's side. By "one" I mean the the plastic food rests that people usually step all over when leaving and entering the car. [PLEASE HELP!!!!]

A: they just pull off. you might have to take them off in some kind of special oder (i.e. one is layered over the other). but yea you might feel like you're gonna break it, and it will sound like you break it when it comes off, but they usually dont break too easily. once they are off, the carpet might have some kind of latches holding it in place, just slide it up, and voila, you've found where they stashed all the other wires!
