Q: Should I buy a 2009 Honda CRV EX 4wd for 23,000 (includes my car trade in)? ?
This includes my trade in of 2,000. So really I guess it is 25,000 out the door. Good deal or keep the car I have? I would like 4wd for the 45 minute drive I have everyday, is this something I can live without?
A: The Honda CRV is an excellent compact SUV hard to go wrong with this model it offers excellent reliability as well as safety and resale value. I assume we are talking about the "EX-L" ? If this is the model it sounds like a fair deal, depending upon what you are trading in. If you want to also check out some of the CRV's competition you can take a look at the all-new Subaru Forester and the Toyota RAV4 ( The Toyota will be more expensive comparably equipped because more accessories are optional on this vehicle). All are good choices, but you will not go wrong with a Honda, currently they are the most reliable vehicles on the road. If you really want the CRV you can use the other vehicles as a bargaining tool when negotiating with the dealer, the Subaru is probably a little cheaper to buy so use that one as your bargaining chip. Q: 2008 Volvo S60 2.5T (FWD) VS. New 2009 Honda CRV EX-L 4WD?
The Volvo is a dealer loaner with 7100+ miles and both prices boil down to around $25k. I am truly torn and need some advice. I am going to put around 20k+ miles a year as a 26 yr old sales rep in New England. I am leaning to the Volvo because it is a luxury at a discount price ($25k) but am I getting in over my head? Both have their pros and cons. 4WD vs FWD. Space vs Performance. New vs. Slightly Used. Ego vs. Practical. HELP????

Q: Want to buy a diesel Honda CRV, will honda offer one in 2009?
A: as of now the Honda Pilot is the only 2009 model with the diesel engine option and that won't be until mid model year. The diesel for the Pilot is a V-6 so if there is a diesel offered on the CR-V it will be a different engine and probably not until 2010 or later.

Q: which one should i go for among Honda CRV 2.4L 2008 or Nissan Altima 2.4L 2008 or Mazda 6 2.0L 2009?
A: According to my husband the mechanic he says the Altima. He says they are easier to fix and he thinks they are cheaper too.
He is kind of bias though....he really likes most newer Nissans. He feels like they are a great buy plus he works for a Nissan dealer.
Personally I woulod also pick the Altima from the stand point of I have two kids to get in and out of a car. I think all three of those choices will be reliable cars for you.
Q: Can someone explain these two fees charged on a new vehicle?
I just purchased a new Honda CRV , 2009 . On the contract they added Rd and Bridge Fee $ 11.50 and a Deputy Service Fee Paid to Dealer $5.00 . No one could explain these fees to me other than they were fees. Does anyone know about these two fees. I thought our car license in Texas was suppose to pay for rd and bridge work . Now that was added in also 65.80.
A: those fees are government fee's just like you stated but because you bought it at the dealership you will get charged for it there and the dealer will send the money to the state. if you bought the car from a private seller the fee will be applied at your local dmv. in short you just saved two hours of waiting in line to register your new car
Q: Gap insurance on CRV Honda ?
I purchased a 2009 vehicle. and was not aware of the gap insurance. My last new car was in 1997. Anyway I put down $6,000. and no trade in. When I get home I find out I didnot need the gap from my family member and insurance man and internet info advice . The amount I financed was 19,300.86 at 3.90 simple interest thru the Honda dealer. Went back to have the Gap taken off and they told me it would be best if I keep it for 1-1/2 yrs and then cancel if I want to. So they give me an extra oil change for my car and fill up my tank of gas which wasnt even half empty. What is your opinion of this . Should I go back to this Dealer , or would you stay clear of them in purchasing future cars???
The Crv is an LX , the reason it is high is because I did get the Extended service agreement, , Auto Shield Plus and Wheel Guard Contract, along with GAP. He said to wait a yr to a year and a half and then come back and cancel the gap. It seems like that would be useless. And I am not going to have the note for 60 months anyways , I am going to pay it off in 48 months or less.
A: Which model did you get? I'm guessing a 2wd EX?
In my opinion GAP is always beneficial unless you are putting 20%+ down. In your case you fit in were you could have probably skipped the GAP. You are right on the edge of my recommendation. The value of the CR-V isn't dropping like some other makes.
They should have let you remove it.You paying for the GAP plus interest on that for your whole term. If you are one of the few that makes extra payments to reduce interest paid you can go without the GAP.
Q: When will Honda CR-V model can be changed ?
I am planning to buy a car in 2009 or in 2010.., I am expecting whether Honda is going to change CRV model in these years...,
A: No...honda (as with most other manufacturers) change model styles every 5 years. I think the new CR-V debut in 2007?

Ok, I'm trying to decide between a few vehicles... I am totally torn and this would be our first big purchase... and I'm searching online about what I can haggle and such... anyways, this is what I've narrowed it down to:
Toyota's Rav4 (or maybe I'll wait until the 2009),
Honda's CRV,
Mitsubishi's Outlander,
Subaru's Forester, or
Nissan's Rogue...
Anyone have any input on these vehicles or if you own one, can you let me know what you think about it, i.e. performance, gas consumption, safety and security?

i am thinking about buying Hyundai Genesis OR Azera
Genesis is great it is better than lexus and other companies for that price

A: drive the new CRV and see what you think, it's much larger than the old ones. You might not like it.
I found the bigger wheels to give it better ride, the new 4 cyl engine was much more powerful than the old ones.
if you don't like that look at the Hyundai Santa Fe V6 or the
Kia Carens
avoid the Rav4 it's 4cyl is underpowered and the 6 cyl pushes the price to $30K

Q: have you noticed the car's interior?
I mean i did buy a 2009 escape (limited) and before i did my decision, i have looked around for almost 2 months. but have you guys noticed how teh interior of american cars have got up to the point that now it exceeds japanees? i mean look at the honda CRV , toyota rav 4 and the escape's interior... i hate the honda's split dashboard where the gear looks like its attached to the main dashboard. and the buffed look on teh rav4 interior. thats why i went with escape and the driving/handling was excellent. besides according to quality the new fords are just as good.
