Q: How fast does a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan accelerates from 0 to 60 mph?
How fast does a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan (197hp) accelerates from 0 to 60 mph? Please provide website links, sources to support your answer. Thanks.
A: I have a stock 08 SI coupe and it will run 0-60 in 5.9 . I have tested three times at the track and its pretty consistent .
Honda is good at purposely not giving the correct numbers due to insurance . There is a lot on a new SI that is not listed just to save the buyers some cash on rates . The sedan , however, will run much faster than what it is rated for . I have seen many stock SI sedans run in the low 6 second bracket . Just ask any SI owner .
Q: How to add additional tabs to 2007 Honda Civic Navigation Audio Screen?
I've got XM installed on my 2007 Honda Civic W/ Navigation and there is only 2 tabs for displaying presets. As you all know there are nearly 150 channels. I thought it would be pretty cool to have one tab be All Sports, another to have "Wake me up, I'm tired" music and the third/forth anything else I could find that I liked. Just an idea, but I am sure if this puzzle could be solved, there will be plenty of folks out there that would greatly appreciate the hack!!! Thanks to all!
A: I do not know but if you want to keep your warranty intact, leave those things alone.
Q: What kind of bike rack should I buy for my 2007 honda civic?
I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Civic, I also go biking a lot and use my bike rack for this. My old bike rack scratched up the car ( It was a Saris Bones model)
What is the best type of bike rack that keeps my car in the best condition
e.g. hitch or roof rack?
Thanks in Advance!
A: i personally prefer a trunk bike rack because for a civic it is;
1 Low and you are limited to where you go with a roof top bike rack. and the roofs in small vehicles nowadays are alot lighter and they have not got very much support and there weight holding capacity is usually under 100lbs and when going over bumps the load may dent your new roof which would be terrible.
I cant remeber how many times i have seen people hit thing on top of thier cars becaise they forget that it is up there.
2 the civic usually does not come with a hitch and those cost alot of money to have installed and they mess up the look of a compact car.
Personally i would get a bike rack that just gets attached using the suppled cords/ropes, or what ever they use, they can usually carry 3 bikes and they can be used on both hatchbacks and trunks. THey usually run around 80 to 150 dollars each.
they are the best to me because they cost less comparatively and they do not limit where you can go.
Q: What does a lightning bolt symbol near the temperature gauge on my 2007 honda civic mean?
A few weeks ago I noticed a tiny lightning bolt symbol to the right of my temperature reading on my 2007 Honda Civic sedan. I asked my Honda dealer if they knew anything about it and I got no answers.
A: I'd suggest taking it to the SERVICE department at the dealer you bought it from and demand answers. I'm sure it's still under warranty so they should have no problem helping you. I'm guessing it means low voltage/amps etc. maybe a battery going bad? Good luck!
Q: What kind of bike rack should I but for my 2007 Honda Civic?

A: My preference is a hitch rack, if you can get one for a Civic. With a roof rack, you have to lift the bike pretty high. Plus, there's a pretty high incidence of forgetting it's there and driving into a garage or other low-clearance spot. That really does a number on the bike and the car, not to mention the door or whatever you drove into.
Q: what would the typical insurance be on a 2007 Honda Civic Si?
I'm wondering what my insurance would be if i bought a 2007 Honda Civic Si, based on my age, 18 years old, and my sex, male.
A: more then the car payment :(
Q: What are the specs for the factory speakers on a 2007 Honda Civic LX?
I just bought a 2007 Honda Civic LX and the audio is good enough, but I would like a little more bass without buying a completely new system. I already have an amp from my previous car, and I just need the information on the factory speakers so I will know if it's alright to hook them up to it.
A: leave the little car alone
Q: Has anyone installed an audio system into their 2007 honda civic completly on their own?
i think i can figure out the power and ground wiring no problem, but the RCA cables seem difficult. how can i get back there to put the AV cables in with out wrecking my dash (2007 honda civic sedan)
A: the dash panels and bezels around the audio system snap-fit. be very careful and patient during removal as they break easily! if you can, get a factory manual to know where all the screws and pry points are.
Q: Where is the best place I can find an AFTERMARKET bumper for a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan?

Q: 2007 Honda Civic: The oil light came on with the number 15 next to it. What does it mean?
This car belongs to a friend that does not speak English very well. She has a new 2007 Civic with the oil light on. The car probably has 5-7K on it now. She said that it is also displaying a light in the shape of a key. Anyone know what these indicate?
A: Im not so sure, but check your oil, and see if it's low. If it is, just replace the oil.
I think the 15 means that you're running low, and only have 15% of oil left.
Q: What mp3 cord do I need for my 2007 Honda Civic?
I have a sandisk mp3 player and my 2007 civic has an aux input. What is the connecting cord I need and where can I get it?
A: You will need a Shielded Cable, 1/8" Stereo Plug to 1/8" Stereo Plug
Radio Shack sell them. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102949&cp=&origkw=1%2F8+cables&kw=1%2F8+cables&parentPage=search
Q: What is the "Passenger Side Walk-In with Memory" feature in Honda Civic Coupe 2007 model?
I have a 2007 Honda Civic Coupe but do not know what the "passenger side walk-in feature with memory" is and how to activate it. If someone does please post your answers here.
Thanks a tonnn..!!!!
A: It's to move the front passenger seat forward so that it'll be easier for people to get in and out of the back seat. There should be a lever at the base of the front seat on the backside.
Q: How many miles can a 2007 Honda Civic (NO HYBRID) run on a single tank?
I filled up gas just last week, and just a couple days ago, my 2007 Civic just gulped up about 3 bars (gallons?) after going about 40 miles one way. I've always thought that the 2006/2007 Civics have like about 30 mpg city. Should I check whether my tires are properly inflated or not? I've been using my A/C on a regular basis (I don't turn it up on full blast on hot days).
I only drive local road, no freeways yet.
A: I would try multiplying however many gallons the gas tank is by about 30mpg. So, say the gas tank is 25 gallons it would look like this:
25 x 30= 750 miles ABOUT MPG is not always the same it is average.
Q: Changing 2007 Honda Civic Outside Temperature Gauge to Celsius?
I just purchased a 2007 honda civic in North Dakota, & I live in Canada I want to switch the outside temperature gauge to Celsius has anyone done this before? & could you provide instructions. The ironic thing is the car is made in Canada.
A: Sorry to say but you cannot change the display for the outside temperature by using the select/reset functions. The US models and Canadian models are different and that's all the owners manual says. You can't switch between the two scales on the meter.
you may want to check with your dealer to see if the temperature sensor under the front bumper is different for US and Canadian models. If its different, then changing the sensor may be enough to change the calibration of the display. I wouldn't bet on it as it may also be a function of the gauge cluster, but it is a possibility. I can assure you that there's no way you can change the value of the display from the cockpit.
hope that answers your question.
