Q: how to remove the stereo for Honda Pilot 2006 LX?
I have a 2006 Honda Pilot LX with a standard factory radio. No NAV or DVD. I want to install an aftermarket radio and am not sure how to take the old one out. I know, I will need to buy a bracket and a harness etc to install it.

A: The vehicle is an 06 it is still under factory warranty honda will diagnose this issue for free
I can also tell you that the oil change light doesnt have the ability to drain the battery.
usually on these vehicles it turns out to be an incorrectly installed aftermarket accessory
when you bought that vehicle it came with a federally mandated warranty bring it to honda!!
Q: Should I trade in my 2006 Honda Pilot for a 2008 Nissan Altima completely loaded?
Pilot gets about 18 MPG while the Altima get much more. The Altima is froma new car dealewr but has 7000 miles on it and is loaded with everything but a microwave oven. Remaining warrantee still in force. What do i do? I realyy like my Pilot but it is killing me with gas.
A: Make the sacrifice for a car w/ better economy. It sounds nice & if your budget allows it, go for it. Just understand that suv's are getting lower trade in values than ever before. But I don't see the Pilot as having that issue. Some dealers are now starting to refuse accepting suv's as trades b/c they can't resell them. Be sure they want yours. G'luck!

Bought my Honda pilot 2006 6 months ago without navigation system, now I wanted one but Honda dealer doess not sell it seperately.

I don't believe it's that simple to install a factory NAV system, it's got more to it, separate componets, to maybe include gyros and disc player... Our factory Nissan unit works in tunnels, and has a rear camera, integrates with the stereo. I've heard folks take the hit and trade up, that is a big hit...

A: every 3 mnths or 3000 miles it is factory recomended oil breaks down after time personaly I do mine 1 a month need it or not

I have a 2006 honda pilot with the vehicle stability control. I hit a deer about 3 weeks ago and don't remember the light being on after i hit it. but when i picked the car up from the body shop it was on constantly. It doesn't seem to affect anything but it's just annoying that the light is constantly on in the dash.
A: take it back in. your abs is part of the vsa also. if one does not work then the other will not. you need to have the shop fix it. if they had to replace a wheel bearing then i bet you they put the new bearing in the wrong way. body shops do this all the time. they do not know there is a magnetic ring in the wheel bearing that the wheel speed sensor reads.

A: Ive only seen that the headlights are the same for the 03-05. then there is a different style for the 06 and 07.
